LOCTITE 290 is a medium / high strength thread adhesive that is ideal for securing pre-assembled connectors.
It is designed for securing and sealing threaded connections. Due to its low viscosity and capillary action, the product absorbs liquid between the engaged threads and eliminates the need for disassembly before application. The product hardens when confined, in the absence of air, between closely bonded metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. The product can also fill pores in electrowelded, cast and powdered metal parts.
Ideal for securing pre-assembled connections, e.g. gauge screws, electrical connectors and pressure screws
