INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING – STORAGE – USE / APPLICATION FIELD
Solid inorganic chlorine for disinfecting swimming pool and spa water.
DOES NOT CONTAIN CYANURIC ACID
IDEAL SOLUTION WHEN HIGH CYANURIC ACID LEVELS BIND CHLORINE AND THE WATER IS NOT DISINFECTED
USERS
Professionals and General Public
Dosage – Method of Use
1. Initial Dose: Add 10–15 g per m³ of water.
2. Adjust the water pH to between 7.0 and 7.4.
3. Maintenance: For normal weather conditions, add 5–10 g per m³ per day.
In high temperatures, high microbial load, heavy swimmer usage, or rain, add 15 g per m³ of water (superchlorination) to restore water clarity and ensure adequate disinfection.
The residual chlorine level should be maintained between 1–3 mg/L (ppm).
To increase the chlorine level by 1 mg/L (ppm), add 1.5 g of the product per m³ of water.
CALHYPO can be added directly to the pool’s balance tank and skimmers, or pre-dissolved in a bucket before adding to the pool.
After adding to the pool water, it is advisable to wait 3–6 hours before allowing swimmers to enter.
In case of superchlorination, wait 12–24 hours before allowing swimmers to enter.
